Mixed Bag of Nuttiness

Longest day and with the poetic asides suggestion to write a mixed-up poem, I am finding that I have less mixing-up on the recipe and language front than my usual strange self might be able to muster.

I am enjoying the eclectics of others. Take this bracelet:from Irregular Expressions over at Etsy. The random, orderly chaos is downright symphonic.

Or my new favorite Trader Joe's finds: The spicy florals of peppercorns, lavender, calendula, cornflower and rose petals. I am looking for the perfect food to hit it with.

And this poem, by Kathleen Winter, for its mixed-up tone and imagery. The synesthesia of oil paint and oatmeal.
